Using Google to Optimize Your Site for Mobile Devices
There has long been a feature in Google Reader in the settings page if you use mobile Safari that allows you to set Google Reader to format all links to make them fit better on your device. The service strips down pages of CSS, offers a "contents" of what seems like the headings inside your site, and converts all images to low quality JPEGs. It's a neat little trick if you can't be bothered to format your website for mobile users, but a butt ugly one if you care about your users' experience more than their ability to easily read your content, without zooming.
To use it, just add your URL (with or without http://) to the end of this URL: http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u=
Alternatively enter your site into the form below.
